It takes heart and mind
To be a poet ... yes,
And it comes with pain
That'll drive you insane
But most poets need insanity to see
Reality ain't what it's cracked up to be
And blaze us a path to the land of the free.

It takes heart and mind
To be a poet ... yes,
With facts that are chillin'
About all the killin'
Or an update on the process of cooin' & billin'
